The balance is perfect. Some metal pens are top or bottom-heavy, making writing a chore. The Stilform ballpoint pen does not suffer from this malady. The length is spot on, which lends to its perfect balance. I like longer pens, and the Stilform ballpoint pen is at the minimal length I like. However, making the pen longer would detract from its looks and balance in MHO.
