By applying two strong N52 magnets, the unique magnetic feature not only simplifies the traditional opening/closing mechanism, also brings out a simple and minimal form.

I’m a “pen guy” and very particular. I was skeptical about this pen from a company that is not one of the “big” fountain pen makers. I’m pleasantly surprised at how good the pen is. Sometimes it takes an “outsider” to disrupt the status quo and bring something innovative to the market. What makes this pen special is the design and magnetic capping. Pen feels great in hand and taking off the cap makes it very fast and easy to use. I chose a Ti nib and the bock nib is great adding to the experience of the pen. My only criticism is the finger piece is slippery, but not a deal breaker. I got the pocket clip, but prob don’t really need it a tend to carry the pen in a jacket hand pocket, the aluminum is super durable so I’m not worried about scratching the barrel. Great job Stillform, I love the pen!
