This is my first stilform.purchase, and after a quick delivery and good customer service (the order was packaged very safely), the first impression is very positive. The fountain pen was easily assembled and looks very elegant - with sleek lines and good proportions. The magnetic cap is highly functional, and so is the "built-in roll stop". Materials and finishing feel very high end, and the writing experience does not disappoint. I am very happy with my purchase from stilform, and I do think that their design is unique, practical and quite beautiful to look at.

The pen is well made and quite thick. It is comfortable to hold and, being aluminium, it's light, especially for a larger pen. I've dropped a star as I had to return mine. I'm left-handed and a regular fountain pen user, but I just couldn't stop the fine nib from skipping. I tried using the pen with my right hand, pulling the pen as I wrote rather than pushing, and it wrote beautifully with a solid, even line and no skips or hard starts. But, I can't write with my right hand so, no good for me. The medium nib might have worked better for me perhaps, but I tend to find if my writing is thicker and wetter, I tend to smudge it. So, most likely my fault for being cack-handed, but this pen was not for me.
